LEGO Engineering Club

  • Build a variety of different machines that roll, flip, and spin. Learn how to design and create these machines using the latest engineering technology while exploring each aspect of the Engineering Design Process.

K'NEX Engineering Club

  • Design and create a variety of engineering projects from simple machines to motorized devices. This class will challenge the way you think about mechanics, as it explores the different aspects of engineering design.

VEX Robotics Club

  • Gain a strong foundation in robotics engineering as you explore different design concepts from simple gear mechanisms to more advanced robotics systems. Classes are taught using the VEX IQ or VEX EDR Robotics kits.

LEGO Robotics Club

  • Investigate different architectural designs and experiment with simple and compound machines using a variety of LEGO kits including the LEGO We-Do 2.0 kit.

Coding Club: Python

  • Learn the basic principles of computer science, while learning how to code in Python, a widely used and easy-to-learn programming language. There are so many things you can do in coding, from creating digital art to designing your own app.

  • Explore the basic principles of computer science, while learning how to code in Scratch, a very simple visual programming language developed by the MIT Media Lab.

  • Work with other students to design and create a fully-functioning video game for you and your friends to play online. This class involves everything from creating your own characters to typing the code itself.

  • In this class, students will experience the magic of making their own movie! They’ll learn camera and lighting techniques, acting and script writing, story boarding, video editing, and more!

Music Engineering Club

  • Learn how to engineer musical instruments by designing and building an instrument from scratch. Then, find out how to imitate the sounds your instrument makes through the computer by digitizing all of its sounds.
