What is the Summer STEM Camp?

The Summer STEM Camp is based on a curriculum that leads students through a series of collaborative STEM-based projects. As the students progress through each project, they will learn the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics used and will be able to apply this learning to future endeavors.

All of the curriculum used is aligned with the Common Core State Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards.

Examples of projects worked on include designing a building different types of bridges, constructing a tower that can withstand gusts of wind, creating a mechanical hand, and using the physics of light to create a working camera.

Who should attend?

The Summer STEM Camp is designed for all students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade.

When does this take place?

The Summer STEM Camp meets Monday through Friday from 12:00PM to 2:30PM.

How much does this cost?

Enrollment is $100 per week or $350 for all 4 weeks. We currently accept cash, check, or money order.

Every child participating in the Summer STEM Camp will have the opportunity to engage in engineering projects, to discover new scientific concepts, and to explore mathematical concepts! That’s right! They will experience STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) firsthand in such a fun and engaging way that they won’t want their Summer to end!
