Since publishing our first issue of The World of Us in June, we've grown our number of readers to over 10,000. We've added more sections to our online magazine and are working on developing a website. Our needs are growing and we're looking for more students (in grades 3 - 8) who are interested in joining our magazine production team and helping us grow.

Art Contest

Every month, we’re going to host an Art Contest with the winning artwork of students from each grade level displayed in this section.

Upcoming Art Contest: For our next issue, we’re looking for movie poster art that shows what to expect in 2021.

  • Artwork needs to be submitted digitally, by emailing it to theworldofus@movingmindz.com.
  • It can be submitted in any of the following picture formats: JPG, PNG, PSD, AI, or PDF
  • Artwork can be created on an 8.5 inch by 11 inch blank paper or digitally, using the dimensions 2550 pixels wide by 3300 pixels high.

Top artwork will be selected from each grade level and displayed in the Art Section of our next issue.

Writing Contest

Every month, we’re also going to host a Writing Contest with the winning stories of students from each grade level displayed in this section.

Upcoming Writing Contest: For our next issue, we’re looking for stories about the future! What are you looking forward to in the year 2021?

  • Writing needs to be submitted digitally, by emailing it to theworldofus@movingmindz.com.
  • All writing must be done in pen or pencil. A clear picture of the writing may be submitted as a PDF, PNG, or JPG file.

Top stories will be selected from each grade level and displayed in the Writing Section of our next issue.
